Creative Theatre Experience

For more than forty years, Creative Theatre Experience (CTE) has been a summer tradition in Olympia. Thousands of students have grown up on our stage—learning teamwork, leadership, and confidence that lasts a lifetime. But until now, those opportunities have only been available during the summer months.

We believe it’s time for more. Imagine the impact if the magic of CTE could reach kids right where they are—after school, in their own communities, at their own elementary schools. Instead of waiting for summer, children could step into the world of theatre during the school year, guided by professional teaching artists who help them build skills and friendships while creating something extraordinary together.

This campaign is about making that vision real. We are launching CTE After-School Musicals, beginning with two underserved elementary schools in Thurston County. These programs will give children the chance to rehearse, perform, and discover their voices in a supportive environment they might not otherwise have.

Your support is the key. The cost of starting these programs includes performance rights, teaching artist salaries, sets, costumes, and scholarships to ensure no child is left out. By giving today, you’re helping us move from “what if” to “we did it.”
