Research shows that young people with a mentor are 55% less likely to use drugs and alcohol to cope, 78% are more likely to volunteer and twice as likely to report strong mental health and hope for their future. 

Through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Washington, every dollar raised helps connect youth with a trusted mentor who listens, believes in them and helps them build confidence and resilience. 

Our Board of Directors is leading by example this Give Local campaign (Nov. 10-21) to ensure that every child has someone in their corner, because when child feels seen and supported, they thrive.
