Your organization will receive disbursements from two sources:
- Mightycause Charitable Foundation (MCF)
- Community Foundation of South Puget Sound (CFSPS) via Chariot.
Please see below for details on each disbursement timeline.

- Bonus funds, fee reimbursements, and donations processed through the Community Foundation - disbursed by CFSPS via Chariot
Community Foundation of South Puget Sound Disbursements
Chariot will provide one disbursement on behalf of the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound (CFSPS) for your organization's portion of bonus funds, fee reimbursements, and any donations processed through CFSPS (such as gifts from stocks, donor advised funds (DAFs), or Retirement accounts (IRAs).

These funds will be distributed by December 31, 2025.
CFSPS now uses Chariot, a trusted and secure partner, to send grants electronically, making distributions easier and safer for your organization. You can set up your Chariot account now or wait until your funds are ready—at that time, Chariot will email you to "claim your account."

If you don't claim your account within 7 days, a check will be mailed to your IRS-registered address. If you want to receive a check at a different address, please let Susan Adams, the Community Foundation's Finance Officer, know by December 3, 2025, at finance@thecommunityfoundation.com.
Mightycause Charitable Foundation Disbursements
Mightycause Charitable Foundation (MCF) provides bi-monthly disbursements via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for online donations made through the platform.
Online donations are distributed on the 10th and 25th of each month. Optionally, you can choose to receive funds by check, which are disbursed on the 10th of the following month.
Nonprofits with EFT can expect to receive their donations on:
- November 25, 2025, for donations made Nov. 3 through Nov. 15
- December 10, 2025, for donations made from Nov. 16 through Nov. 21
Nonprofits that prefer to receive a check will receive their donations on:
- December 10, 2025,for donations received in November
- Check disbursements have a $5 service fee and require a minimum of $25 in donations.
(For this reason, we highly recommend setting up EFT, which incurs no fees and no minimums.) - Please make sure to verify your legal mailing address for checks.

Disbursement Reporting for Mightycause Charitable Foundation
Your organization's disbursement report on spsgives.org offers a detailed breakdown of the funds deposited through EFT by MCF. If you are an administrator for your organization, follow the steps below:
1. Log in to your administrative account.
2. Click on your user icon in the top-right corner, and then select your organization in the dropdown.
3. Select Reports on the left-hand navigation

4. Select Disbursement from the sub-menu or directly from the landing page.
5. After selecting Disbursements you will land on a page with details from each of your payouts. Simply click on one of the items to view the full details.
Understanding the MCF Disbursement Report
Your disbursement report shows donations included in the disbursement, any adjustments applied, and a final breakdown explaining how the total amount deposited into your account was calculated.

At the top of your Disbursement Report, you will see some general informaiton including the date the EFT was processed, your organization information, and the amount deposited into your account.
In the next section, you will find every donation that was included in the disbursement, including the date the gift was made, and the amount of the donation.
