The Cispus Learning Center

At Cispus, learning happens outdoors. Students explore the forest, challenge themselves on ropes courses, and build teamwork and confidence through hands-on experiences in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

Open year-round, Cispus welcomes elementary through high school students for environmental and leadership programs. It also serves adult and community groups who share a commitment to education, growth, and the outdoors.

We connect people with nature, learning, and each other. Cispus provides meaningful outdoor experiences that build confidence, community, and respect for the environment.

As part of the Washington School Principals’ Education Foundation (WSPEF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, philanthropic partner to the Association of Washington School Principals (AWSP), Cispus exists to make outdoor learning accessible and affordable for everyone.
