Visions for Early Learning

The purpose of Visions for Early Learning (VEL) is to provide an intentional space for the organic unfolding of partnerships and connections so that we can respond to emerging community needs effectively. VEL is one of ten regional coalitions in the statewide early childhood network Washington Communities for Children. As the regional early learning coalition, VEL supports five local coalitions in Lewis, Thurston, Mason, Grays Harbor and North Pacific Counties.

VEL isn’t just about supporting families ~ it’s about building a network that connects early childhood professionals, educators, and caregivers to the tools they need to help children thrive. Through coalition’s infrastructure, vital pathways are created that foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among professionals and across early childhood and developmental health systems.

VEL works to ensure families can seamlessly connect to the resources they need without unnecessary barriers. For our regional early learning coalition, this work means creating unified, accessible pathways that helps families, especially those in underserved areas, access early care and education opportunities.
