Together, Let's Build a Brighter Future for all in Thurston County

At United Way, we’ve always been committed to improving the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community. The way we do that work may look different today—but it’s more important than ever.

Through Give Local, we’re setting a bold goal: to raise $100,000 to expand our High School Career & Resource Navigators and the Residential Construction Academy.

Currently, our Navigators serve 7 of our 9 local high schools. With your help, we can reach them all. Navigators are trusted guides who build lasting relationships with students and families, especially those facing the greatest barriers. They help students explore careers, complete paperwork, access vital services, and take their next step toward a living-wage future through certifications, trades, apprenticeships, or college degrees. Hundreds of students have already changed the course of their lives through this program. Your gift will help us reach every school, opening doors for thousands more.

At the same time, our Residential Construction Academy is tackling two urgent needs: good jobs and affordable housing. We just celebrated our first class of certified builders and are training the next generation right now. Like any strong foundation, we need the right materials and support to keep building.

Together, we can create opportunity, stability, and hope for years to come.

Donate today and help build the future Thurston County deserves.
