Since 1995, The Olympia Union Gospel Mission (OUGM) has been a beacon of hope for the homeless and needy in our community. Beginning as a street ministry outreach, OUGM has always aimed to serve God by serving others, creating an atmosphere of love, respect, and acceptance. Our mission remains steadfast: to share God’s love in practical ways.

Today, OUGM's impact is profound and far-reaching. Thanks to your generosity, we provide hundreds of men and women with hot meals, showers, and overnight shelter each week. Our commitment extends beyond immediate needs as we work to break the cycle of homelessness.

We are especially excited about our recent expansion to help the children in our community through Camp Hope and our afterschool clubhouse. These programs offer essential support, assisting with homework and ensuring children have a nutritious meal, fostering hope for a brighter future, and helping them strive to break the cycle of poverty as adults.

Our comprehensive services, including meals, hygiene, and addiction recovery, make a tangible difference. By meeting these basic needs, we renew hope and restore self-respect and dignity in those we serve. Providing hot meals, in particular, is a powerful way to share the Gospel, as food is a tangible expression of God’s love.
