More neighbors are reaching out for help than ever before. Each day, about 20% of the people we serve are brand new to the food bank.

Together, we can fight hunger in our community.

Since 1972, Thurston County Food Bank has been committed to providing hunger relief to our community in the spirit of neighbor helping neighbor. What began in the basement of a local church has grown into a vital network with two pantries, a 25,000 square-foot warehouse, 19 satellites, and 17 mobile sites that distribute fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable foods across four counties.

Today that mission is more important than ever.

Many families and individuals are experiencing food insecurity for the first time. Recent cuts to programs and the federal shutdown has disrupted household incomes as well as SNAP and WIC benefits, making this a particularly difficult time for many of our neighbors.

Our network of pantries and satellite locations remains open to ensure access to nutritious food throughout the community. At our pantries, our Client Advocate Team connects individuals and families not only with food but also with other essential community resources that can help them weather this challenging time.

Your support has never mattered more.

Your financial gift makes an immediate impact and helps us provide the nutritious foods our neighbors need most. Your time volunteering helps keep our shelves stocked and our doors open.

Together we can build a stronger, more resilient community where everyone has access to the nourishment and support they need.

Thank you for joining us in our mission. Together, we can accomplish so much!

"This program has helped me and my family very much. It has helped us pay off our dues and helped us buy gas. And help us save a little bit of money for us to try to move out of our two bedroom with five kids. So my family has appreciation for what the FORKids Program has done. Thank you."
