Roosevelt Elementary PTA

We are families, teachers, staff, students, and community members working to build a strong, interconnected community where every child can be the best version of themselves.

Roosevelt Elementary PTA’s mission is to create a supportive and inclusive community for all students and families at our school. We've been an integral part of the Northeast Olympia Neighborhood, the Olympia School District, and the larger Thurston County area for more than 100 years. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we operate entirely on volunteer time, donations, and grants to support the health, learning, and growth of all children in our neighborhood.

Roosevelt Elementary serves almost 400 students in grades pre-k through 5 each year. But our school is so much more than a place of learning. It’s also a longstanding neighborhood hub that supports multi-generational community connections. As a PTA, we foster strong relationships with Roosevelt staff, families, businesses, and neighbors so students have a safe and welcoming place to grow to their fullest potential.

Your Support > One School

Your Give Local donation will of course enhance the Roosevelt Raven experience, but by giving to our PTA, you are also investing in the rich history of Olympia's Northeast Neighborhood and the larger network of educators, students, families, non-profits, and local businesses in the South Puget Sound area. In the 2025-2026 school year, the PTA invested more than $10,000 into classroom supplies and field trips that align with the school’s curriculum. Nearly all of our sponsored activities involve local businesses and organizations of various sizes.
