Why Redwoods? 

• Redwoods capture carbon two to three times faster and longer than other trees.
• Redwoods have proven to thrive here – even in the face of climate change - and are extremely fire resistant.
• Redwoods can help secure economic stability - the redwood can be harvested like cedar and fir.
• The trees are simply majestic – their intrinsic beauty creating inspiration and a connection to nature. Help the redwoods "walk" to the PNW.
• Redwoods increase forest diversity, which translates to stronger forests no matter what the future has in store.
