Pathways to Agency

At Pathways to Agency, we are driven by the belief that everyone should have the tools and support to achieve their goals and thrive in their communities. Our mission is to bridge the gaps in understanding, accessibility, and trust by connecting individuals to essential resources and sharing actionable information and processes that can lead to personal and community growth.

We’ve identified key challenges: 

1. various reasons for obstacles in how to navigate systems
2. distrust of, or confusion around existing resources
3.  the stigma that often accompanies asking for help. 

Many people find it difficult to navigate complex administrative processes, and the abundance of organizations offering similar services only adds to the confusion. Too often, people feel unheard and unsupported, whether they are community members or service providers for the people.

To address these challenges, our current service, Resource Report, offers deeper, more pertinent information about existing and emerging nonprofits and resource organizations. This information is shared through a pre-recorded radio program, making it accessible to all. We also provide free, printed zines, regularly update our website, and archive episodes on our podcast hosting platform to ensure the information is easy to access and share.

At Pathways to Agency, we’re committed to creating a community that empowers every individual to take control of their life’s path, and we look forward to expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of those we serve.
