Since 1984, Lincoln Options Elementary School, a public school in Olympia, WA, has provided a child-centered, alternative education focused on learning, kindness, and celebration. With students from across the Olympia area, Lincoln offers multi-age classrooms, an integrated arts and science curriculum, and supports each child’s social-emotional growth and individual learning style. The Lincoln Options Community Council (OCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports several of Lincoln’s unique and enriching student programs.

Each year, the OCC raises approximately $90,000 above and beyond school district funding to support:

  • Field trips to places like Kennedy Creek, Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, theater performances, and the State Capitol Building
  • Spanish language instruction
  • Art and music enrichment
  • Community events and traditions like Harvest Fest, Procession of the Species, Camp Elderberry, and Dia De Los Muertos
  • Classroom supplies and professional development for our amazing teachers
  • Garden and wetlands
  • Much more….

Your donation will help ensure these opportunities remain available to every student, regardless of income. Thank you for your love and support!
