Olympia Education Foundation

Help Olympia Students Learn, Grow & Thrive!

Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. Together, we can help make that possible.

For more than 25 years, Olympia Education Foundation has worked alongside the Olympia School District to remove barriers to learning, support innovative educational experiences, and help students and families when they need it most.

Your Give Local gift helps support programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Olympia students.

Meeting Essential Needs: Principal's Emergency Fund

Sometimes the biggest barrier to learning is something happening outside the classroom.

Through the Principal's Emergency Fund (PEF), school staff can quickly help students and families facing urgent needs, including food, clothing, transportation, laundry, and emergency housing assistance.

A grocery voucher, a pair of shoes, or help during a housing crisis can make an enormous difference for a student.

Creating Opportunities: Opportunity Grants

Great ideas deserve the chance to grow!

Our Opportunity Grants provide up to $2,000 to Olympia School District educators and staff for projects and experiences that enhance student learning.

From art and music to STEM, literacy, field trips, and student well-being, these grants help bring creative learning opportunities into our schools.

Inspiring a Love of Reading: Battle of the Books

Books open doors to imagination, discovery, and lifelong learning.

Through Battle of the Books and our partnership with Browsers Bookshop, we help provide books and encourage students across the district to discover the joy of reading.

Supporting Student & Community Well-Being

We also support initiatives that strengthen student mental health, social-emotional learning, and connections between schools, families, and the broader community.

Your Gift Makes a Difference!

When you give to Olympia Education Foundation, you're helping students overcome challenges, discover new interests, and access opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.

During Give Local, November 9–20, your gift goes even further through the community Bonus Fund!

Whether you give $25, $50, $100, or another amount meaningful to you, every gift helps us cultivate student potential.

Give Local. Support Olympia Students. Help Build Brighter Futures.

Thank you for investing in our students, schools, and community!
