Nisqually Land Trust

The Nisqually Land Trust protects and stewards lands to permanently benefit the water, fish, wildlife, and people of the Nisqually River Watershed.

For more than 37 years, we've worked alongside landowners, Tribal and Watershed partners, local communities, volunteers, and supporters to protect the places that make this watershed special.

Together, we have:
• Protected more than 10,700 acres of forests, wetlands, river corridors, and wildlife habitat;
• Safeguarded wildlife habitat for salmon, marbled murrelets, northern spotted owls, elk, beavers, and  countless other native species;
• Planted over 440,000 native trees and shrubs; and
• Restored and cared for thousands of acres of protected land; and
• Connected over 1,000 students to nature each year with hands-on learning experience in the field.

Because of you, this work continues across the watershed.
