Our mission is to engage first responders, tribes, and other stakeholders in eliminating human trafficking through solution-based knowledge and trauma-informed strategies. Also, to empower survivors to heal and build self-sufficient, affirming lives.

Programs and Services

Direct Client Assistance Mobile Advocacy

Case Management: Tailored, comprehensive case management to address the unique needs of each survivor, guiding them through various recovery and support systems.

Advocacy: Dedicated advocacy efforts to ensure survivors’ voices are heard and their rights are protected as they navigate legal, social, and healthcare systems.

Wraparound Services: A holistic, all-encompassing approach to survivor support, connecting individuals to essential resources and services, including housing, healthcare, and legal assistance.

Resource Navigation: Assisting survivors in identifying and accessing critical resources to aid in their recovery and long-term stability.

Healing Journey Home: Offers a supportive and safe transitional living environment dedicated to women survivors of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Our comprehensive services include secure housing, case management, and a range of tailored resources designed to empower survivors to rebuild their lives and achieve long-term stability.

Mariposa Project curriculum is a proven tool for survivor empowerment and professional development. Designed to provide survivor-led and survivor-developed, curriculum-based cohorts, the Mariposa Project equips participants with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to thrive both personally and professionally.

Comprehensive Human Trafficking Training: We offer in-depth training on various aspects of human trafficking, including both labor trafficking and sex trafficking. Our curriculum is designed to increase awareness and build the capacity of professionals to effectively address trafficking cases.

Culturally Responsive and Trauma-Informed Approach: Our services are rooted in survivor-led principles, ensuring it is delivered in a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed manner that respects the unique challenges faced by individuals affected by human trafficking.

South Sound Human Trafficking Task Force: The SSHTTF strives to collaborate with and educate allies to create systems that offer victim/survivors an opportunity to exit trafficking with culturally-informed, trauma-sensitive, trauma-responsive, and person-centered support. The task force seeks to empower victim/survivors to be resilient through a coordinated community response.
