This year for Give Local,
FESS is focusing on our Basic Needs program.
In a time when costs are soaring and vital programs are disappearing, FESS stands beside parents—providing housing
and utility assistance, food support, hygiene supplies, and the essential care families need to get through hard times.

About Basic Needs

Basic needs include essential items that support a family’s daily well-being

FESS helps meet these needs while also providing resources that strengthen families and promote stability. Over the past year, we offered rental assistance to 110 families, provided financial literacy training to 279 people through our partnership with Peak Credit Union.
In addition, we distributed 11,340 diapers to families in need and reached 2,425 parents through our parenting education classes.

Why should you support FESS?

Last year, FESS served 22,311 adults and children through our programs including Basic Needs, parenting education classes, peer support, and kinship support.

Providing auxiliary support to families in the form of diapers and wipes and other basic needs essentials is vital. With the shuttering of other similar non-profit organizations in our area, services like these are needed more than ever.
