Conflict is a natural part of living with others and can bring about positive change in individuals, families, and communities. Mediation does not eliminate conflict from our lives, but rather provides a way for people to navigate through and create a mutually beneficial outcome. We believe in the ability of individuals to advocate for themselves, speak their concerns and come up with creative solutions!

At the Community Mediation Center we provide dispute resolution services to familes in conflict as they navigate divorces and parenting plans, landlord and tenants as they try to avoid evictions and workplaces that need tools to improve their communication and productivity. We offer our services at no cost to those who qualify because we want to make sure that our vision of "Communities where everyone can approach conflit with confidence and hope" becomes a reality for Lewis County.

Mediation is built on the basis that self-determination and good faith are present in both parties and the mediators are there to guide the participants through whatever stage of conflict they are in. Whether or not agreement is reached through mediation, we believe that no time is wasted by those who choose to make the effort to communicate with others and listen to understand.

Join us today and become our partner in peace through a donation or by sharing the mission of CMC with the people YOU care about!

Thank you for your contribution of time, energy or resources to make our community a better place to live, work and grow,
