About Winter Wonders

The holidays shine brightest when our community comes together. Through Winter Wonders, you can help make the season warmer, brighter, and more joyful for youth, young adults, and families supported by Community Youth Services (CYS).

When you give through Give Local, every dollar goes directly toward providing holiday gifts, warm clothing, and essential supplies that help young people feel valued, safe, supported, and connected during the winter months.

How your gift makes an impact

Every gift you give brings real comfort, joy, and dignity to young people and families in our community.

$25 — Share a spark of warmth with a box of handwarmers, gloves, and a beanie, or inspire creativity with a painting set for a youth artist.

$50 — Help a young adult settle into their first apartment with new cookware, a sturdy pair of shoes, or emergency sleeping bags that provide safety and rest.

$80 — Fill a gift bag for a young adult in our shelter, wrap someone in warmth with fleece blankets, or provide two cozy winter coats.

$100+ — Give comfort that lasts with diapers and wipes for a child, a meal out for a family, or a complete winter set with coat, gloves, beanie, and socks for a young adult starting fresh.

Larger gifts help us go even further by supporting youth wish lists, purchasing warm essentials in bulk, and meeting emerging needs throughout the season.
