Community Foundation of South Puget Sound

Together, We Make More Possible.

When you give to the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound, you become a Friend of the Foundation and join a community of people who care deeply about the place we call home. Together, we're creating opportunities, strengthening connections, and investing in a brighter future for Lewis, Mason, and Thurston counties.

Your generosity helps make meaningful work possible every day. This year, we:

• Awarded 84 students with $310,500 in scholarship awards thanks to the generosity of donors who established Scholarship Funds with us, volunteer reviewers who helped score applications, and our community members who helped spread the word about these opportunities.

• Hosted our third annual Community Conversation with Doug Griffiths and awarded $60,100 in grants to 21 projects through our Project Connect Grants—efforts that help bring community members together and take action of making the change we want to see locally.

• Celebrated America 250 through our Summer Photo Contest in celebration of the moments that bring people together and the places that help define what it means to call the South Puget Sound home.

• Announced our partnership with Community Heart & Soul in support of small towns across Lewis, Mason, and Thurston counties as they build local capacity, strengthen relationships, and create resident-led plans for the future.

Celebrating 10 Years of Give Local

Through our generous community, Give Local has raised more than $6.7 million for local nonprofits.

Over 10 years we've watched Give Local grow substantially, with last year's donations surpassing 1.6M in support of over 150 nonprofits!

We can't wait to see what year 10 brings.
